GBENRO ADESINA/IBADAN The Registrar of the University of Ibadan, UI, Mr. Olujimi Olukoya, has disclosed that the premier institution has expelled 97 students from various academic programmes in the university. Olukoya stated that expelling the students has become imperative as a result of their inability to obtain the minimum academic grades at the end of 2014/2015 session. He stressed that those expelled were students whose grade points fell below required cumulative grade point to proceed in their academic pursuit. According to him, there is nothing unusual in the withdrawal because it is the university’s tradition that is known to all
