Asaba and its environs in Delta registered its first rainfall on Monday night NAN reports. The rain, which started at about 11:45 p.m. on Monday, stopped at about 12:50 a.m. on Tuesday and came without wind and thunderstorms. NAN reports that the rain left patches of water in most parts of Asaba metropolis and made access to some of the streets, particularly the Direct Labour Road (DLR) difficult.
