Cyriacus Izuekwe The convent attacked by armed robbers Four dare-devil armed robbers attacked reverend sisters at a convent, SS Joachin and Anne Catholic church in Ijegun, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria. The robbers stormed the convent in the early hours of Saturday 9 April at Irede street in Ijegun where the church is located. According to eyewitnesses they forced their way through the gate and broke the doors leading their rooms, carting away valuables.
