Top oil producing countries have gathered in Doha, Qatar’s capital, for the meeting to discuss remedies to the lingering decline in the price of crude oil in the market. Nigeria’s petroleum minister, Ibe Kachikwu, has also arrived in Doha where the preliminary meeting has already commenced, PM news reports. The official of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, headed by Kachikwu, explained in a statement that the minister together with his colleagues from all over the world was considering the practicable measures to end the crisis and reach the balance between oil supply and demand.
